I might be on holiday…but I didn’t leave all my routines at home.
I’m currently three weeks into Barcelona summer life: beautiful chaos, late nights, wine-fuelled dinners, and more ice cream than I’ll admit publicly 🫣.
And still, I’m keeping up with my training.
CrossFit, Hyrox sessions, a few runs (yes, I still hate running, but I’m not losing the work I did for Hyrox). I’m doing 3 days on, 1 day off and while I’ve dropped the 5am club and 21:30 bedtime (try eating before 9 in Spain, I dare you)…I’ve found a new rhythm.
Workouts now happen at 9 or 10am, followed by long breakfasts, afternoon siestas, and then more exploring, eating, and soaking in the city.
Why am I telling you this?
Because staying consistent doesn’t mean being perfect.
And longevity isn’t about rigid discipline, it’s about adapting well.
You don’t need to pause your goals to live your life.
And you don’t need to suffer your way to staying on track.
Sometimes the healthiest routine is the one that includes Cava. 🍾
