If you read last week’s Friday Fix, you already know I’ve been on a bit of a fashion rant.
Well, the plot thickened 😅.
After yet another frustrating visit to a BOSS store on the weekend – where I once bought every power suit in my wardrobe – I sat down and wrote a LinkedIn post.
It wasn’t just about clothes.
It was about visibility. And value.
About what it means to be a woman who leads and still wants to look like one.
I shared how, for years, I wore BOSS to keynotes and boardrooms. But lately? I walk in and feel invisible. Like the brand no longer sees us, women who run companies, raise capital, lead lives.
What happened next surprised me (well I silently hoped for it…is that called manifestation🤔?).
Daniel Grieder, CEO of BOSS, responded 🤯.
We’re setting up a meeting to talk. And I have a thousand ideas, because it’s not just about fashion. It’s about recognising a woman’s prime, not erasing it.
But what moved me most?
How many of you wrote to say: “Yes. This. I feel this every time I shop.”
We’re not alone. And we shouldn’t be overlooked.
If you haven’t seen the post, you can read it here.
And if you’re not part of my growing LinkedIn community of almost 6,000 incredible women – come join. There’s power in being seen.
See you next week,
Dr. Kerstin
