Lately I keep seeing a trend: women in their early 30s with limited real-world experience leaving corporate to become “consultants” or “business influencers.

Good for them – genuinely. Building an audience on LinkedIn is work and I respect it.

But it made me ask: where are the women over 40 who’ve actually built, led, turned around, and delivered?

The ones with P&L scars, boardroom receipts, and a CV that doesn’t fit on one page.

My guess? Many of us missed the social train. We were busy… doing the work.

And now the loudest mics belong to people half as qualified, because they showed up.

This isn’t about pushing anyone off stage. It’s about taking our place on it.

We can learn from the 30-somethings: they share, they risk, they’re consistent.
So let’s do what we’ve always done – lead and add visibility to our list of strengths.

If we don’t speak, the room fills with voices that shouldn’t be the only ones shaping the narrative.

Same as corporate: if we don’t raise our voice, we get passed over.
Not today.

What do you think? Hit reply! I want to hear it.
