Your LinkedIn headline needs a glow-up

Your LinkedIn headline needs a glow-up_Dr. Kerstin Brehm Newsletter_The Friday Fix

After reflecting on who you are without your job title…

Let’s take a look at what your LinkedIn profile says about you.
Right under your name — your headline — is the prime real estate of your LinkedIn presence.

Let me guess: it probably says something like
👉🏼 Senior Manager at XYZ
👉🏼 Marketing Director at BigCorp

And hey, I get it — that’s the default. But here’s the thing:
Your profile isn’t your employer’s billboard. It’s your stage.

That little line under your name should reflect who you are, what you do, and what value you bring — not just who pays your salary.

You’re not just a title. You’re a voice. A force. A vibe.

So here’s your weekend challenge:
✨ Revisit your answers from earlier — who are you when you’re not hiding behind your job title?
✨ What do you actually do — in plain English a 6-year-old could understand?
✨ How can you write a headline that sparks curiosity and invites people into your world?

And don’t overthink it.
Go with what feels true — maybe just slightly outside your comfort zone.
You can always change it later. That’s the beauty of becoming.

See you next week,
Dr. Kerstin
